Following from the local search focus of yesterday's post, a friend of mine (and client) has recently launched a local portal site for Sunnyvale, California.

I had a good look through and you can really appreciate the effort he has put in to get this up and running. Ted is a guy who really understands the local potential of the Internet for small businesses. I am keen to see how his new site develops.

Attitude's New Zealand Search Guide has just been reworked. The site, which has been up since 2000, features a directory of New Zealand search engines and directories and New Zealand website promotion resources.

The site also features a search box allowing you to search New Zealand sites using a number of top search engines and directories.

The "new improved" Attitude's New Zealand Search Guide also includes a New Zealand Domain Name Search feature.
